Introduction to Spans

Spans are useful tools that let you mark specific sections in your audio asset. This makes it easier to quickly play or compare different parts of your track.

Some common examples of spans might include:

• Drum Fill: A section featuring a drum solo.
• Solo: A highlighted guitar or instrument solo.
• Vocal Improvements: A spot where the vocals need extra work.

1. Creating a Span: To create a span, click on the timeline in the Player where you want the span to start.

2. Editing a Span: If you want to change a span, click on the span you created. You can:

• Name your Span: Give it a title that describes the section.
• Set Start and End Times: Adjust the timestamps to define where the span begins and ends.
