Introduction to Versions

Versions

Aliada Create offers a robust versioning system for your Assets, allowing you to track and manage changes effectively. Understanding how to use versions is essential for maintaining the integrity and organization of your work.

In Aliada Create, each version of an Asset can be categorized as either a Major Version or a Minor Version:

A Major Version signifies significant changes or updates to an Asset. These versions typically introduce new features or extensive modifications.

Examples of Major Versions:

  • 1.0
  • 2.0
  • 3.0
  • 4.0

A Minor Version represents smaller updates or adjustments, such as bug fixes or minor enhancements, without introducing significant new features.

Examples of Minor Versions:

  • 1.1
  • 2.4
  • 3.6

When you upload a new Asset, you can designate it as either a Minor Version or a Major Version. This flexibility allows you to clearly communicate the significance of the changes made.

Important Note: All Assets start at version 1.0 upon initial creation.
